Why Mighty Waves?
Sometimes the greatest gift is to listen, to advise, and to feel comfortable sharing the raw and messy. I provide a space to do that keeping the Lord’s ways anchored in how we do more and strive for more FOR HIS SAKE!
Often when the world begins to cave in, and we are overwhelmed unless you are rooted in the word it can feel as if God isn’t listening to our prayers. That is when we need someone in our corner than can remind us of God’s truth that: He always is, and His ways are better and His love for us is greater.
As women business leaders we have a unique opportunity to influence, inspire, and build one another up to perform at heights never imagined. Doing it by yourself will only get you so far….doing it with Jesus you are unstoppable!!
We open each session with the word of God because Jesus IS the cornerstone. Drawing closer to God is at the core of every dimension I help bring to the surface in your life. He calls us to come near to Him and often in our haste to always be doing (which we justify is for our families, or to serve Him) we fall short in drawing NEAR to him in all things-especially in our work. I am passionate about helping women find their calling in how they live their best life. As a working mom I have real life experience how hard that is to really have, and it takes intentional effort to keep it in sync. I provide coaching sessions virtually or in person in my home office where we bring it all and then evaluate it with a Christ like lens. We call these mighty sessions as they are packed with a punch either early in the morning, lunch hour, or Sat sessions. One hour of encouragement, real tangible advice, and guidance to leave empowered and ready to take on all God has in store for you to step into. That is power you can harness and put to work!
Performance coaching is not about creating a better version of yourself or to perform to the worlds standards of success, but performance coaching at Mighty Waves is about harnessing who GOD created you to be to the fullest potential possible and how your work when done at your best, operating at all cylinders glorifies Christ!
Prior to my career break I served in various sales leadership roles in the technology-software-consulting world. An MBA and an undergraduate in International Business served me in building my sales career well but when it came time to designing what a faith based coaching business would look like I knew I wanted to learn and apprentice under the best. So, in 2022 I spent a year learning from Dr. Chuck Coker, founder of Life Thrive Performance Systems. I became certified as a Life Performance Coach where I was chartered with leading the performance coaching practice for LifeThrive Performance Systems. We traveled in October 2022 to Cambridge, UK to work with C3 church and I fell in love with the work we did throughout JAX working with local businesses and organizations. I bring over 25 years of market experience into creating a safe and yet bold place for women to learn how to highly perform in their businesses, at home, and how they serve God. Real performance coaching tailored for the real woman, business leader, and mom. Because after all, we bring our whole selves in to all that we do.
I believe life is about rhythms and harmony occurs at the intersection of work that is personally fulfilling, what you are gifted at in doing, and what gives your life a meaningful dimension. Age, maturity, and wisdom have taught me the world might call it work life balance but really it is finding harmony in living a life that allows you to provide for your family and not sacrifice being who you were called to be in this life. A life that allows margin for the care taking responsibilities as women we juggle, (don’t leave out the biggest of all, ourselves:), while doing work you really love.
